Oggie’s Sports Bar & Grille, located inside The Lodge at Deadwood, is a high-energy restaurant known for great food and exceptional service. We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Host to help ensure our guests feel welcome and the dining room is managed efficiently.
Position Summary:
The Host serves as the communication link between the guests and front-of-house team. This role is responsible for greeting guests, coordinating the seating, taking takeout orders and employee orders from all departments, and answering phone calls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests and set the tone for their experience
- Manage the seating chart and accommodate special requests
- Respond to guests' inquiries and requests in person and over the phone
- Organize reservations and wait-lists
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room
- Assist with other FOH duties
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or host experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and presentation
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Availability for morning shifts, night shifts, including weekends and holidays
